The biggest fall TV premiere week was arguably the latest one — featuring the debuts of Homeland and American Horror Story. They are definitely the shows that made the greatest impression on me and the BryGuy, and we discuss it in this hour.
We also are beginning to turn our attention the big screen, anticipating the fall “Oscar season” at the movies. Which ones have some buzz, and which might not, but will be worth seeing anyway? Also: don’t forget to catch a Ghostbusters screening in your town this month if you can…
Looking WAAAY down the line, of course, there is always another summer blockbuster season ahead, and we’ve now had our collective appetite whetted by the trailer for The Avengers. Can Joss Whedon alone rescue us, the viewers, from another plotless, cliched, explosio-fest? Or will the deeper, sometimes quirky vision that we’ve come to appreciate in places like Firefly, Buffy, and Dr. Horrible hit the cutting room floor?
Listen if you dare.
