Bocko & BryGuy #78: Lord of the Marathon

New seasons of some favorite TV programs are getting fired up here in the near future, and to keep pace, Bryan and I need to marathon — I finished the first season of The Killing last week (which was OK), and Bryan needs to plow through Game of Thrones.

My weekend is going to feature a Lord of the Rings marathon — all three extended editions, back-to-back-to-back.  I’m thinking I’ll either LOVE IT, or hate putting myself in a room for that many hours of consecutive viewing.  One thing is for sure: when I’ve decided to commit to a project like this, I’m going to finish it.  So if anyone decides to give up after Two Towers, hey… that’s their business.  Me?  I’ll still have 3.5 hours to go…

This right here is manageable, though.  You got 45 minutes?  You can crank this out.  Have fun!

  1. How dare Jason mock Pearl Jam. To quote Jimmy Rabbitte Sr. in “The Commitments”: “That’s fuckin’ blasphemy. Elvis wasn’t a Cajun.”

Regarding “The Hunger Games”: This movie was made for preteen girls. Stay far, far away from it. Check out the trailer for “Prometheus” and consider that instead for your viewing dollar.

  2. “Friends With Benefits” btw.

I too enjoy the nubile flesh of the Portman. I’ve been a fan since “Beautiful Girls”.
