
The show kicks off this week with an extensive debriefing on Joe’s job and the logistics of sailing on one of his company’s vessels. Riveting, I tell you.
From there, we surprisingly turn to the ponies and the upcoming Belmont Stakes. While American Pharoah is favored to win (by a lot), I still don’t think we’re going to see the first Triple Crown winner since 1978. It’s literally been my whole life since Affirmed won that shit.
The Stanley Cup Finals got off to a tense and exciting start, and our panel is slightly split on who will ultimately win. The same can’t be said for the NBA, whose Finals participants were settled more than a week ago, but the damn thing only got rolling last night, after we taped.
On the diamond, it’s been a carousel of rookie starters taking turns on the mound for the Brewers, indicating that management is ready to take 2015 as a mulligan. At least the Crew will be here in the Twin Cities for the weekend, so a few of us can get out to see the team in person.
I was going to say something about staying thirsty, but why would I want you to be thirsty? Seriously, go get yourself a glass of water before you download this thing. Water is good for you. Drink more of it.
