On this Thanksgiving Eve, what are the Packers fans thankful for? Well, we’re thankful that Aaron Rodgers is still the runaway best player in the league through 11 weeks, and we’re thankful that James Starks’s sprained knee might not keep him out of tomorrow’s game over in Detroit.
Lions fans, meanwhile, are thankful for a meaningful Thanksgiving Day game, that a national audience might actually be interested in watching. They’re thankful that they can finally leave their grocery sacks checked at the turnstile before entering Ford Field.
The Bears fans are thankful that, while they may be down a quarterback for the duration of the season, they still have an all-pro running back without a contract, and a solid defense that should keep them in every game through the end of the year.
Vikings fans are thankful that Adrian Peterson’s injury is not career-threatening, so they could probably still trade him somewhere this off-season. They’re also thankful that the Wild are in first place.
Enjoy your holiday weekend, and good luck with the wishbone.
