The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #123: Befuddlizationment

Plenty to scratch one’s head about on this week’s show–

Josh and I start with what the hell happened to the Brewers vaunted pitching staff.  Coming out of spring, this is what were supposed to hang our hats on, and the middle relievers have been handing out base hits like it’s Halloween: everybody can take one handful.

I reveal some confusion about where the Twins are at: is this the start of a rebuilding cycle, or not?

The NHL Playoffs feature an odd dichotomy of outcomes by conference: in the West, only one first round series lasted six games, where in the East, all but one went seven.  A few big upsets, and some less-than-popular teams are advancing…

Who knows what the Bucks are going to do now that their season is over.  Decisions loom about the GM and the head coach.  I feel like they should keep both, but if they had to choose just one or the other… I say John Hammond.

Finally, as we look ahead to the NFL draft (both Chicago and Green Bay end up with some edge rushers in the first round), we bear witness to the bizarre trade that Cleveland pulled with Minnesota to move up one spot and get a player they could have had one pick later.

Hey, whatever: sports are weird, man.  Enjoy the show!
