The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #142: Trifecta

We went to tape on this week’s show before the evening games started on this final day of the MLB season.  It was looking good for Miguel Cabrera to become the first Triple Crown winner since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967, and by the end of night, he’d done it.  Should be an easy pick for AL MVP if you ask me.

Over on the football side of things, three Drama Jocks have prognosticated a near-equal percentage of the games successfully at the one-quarter mark of the NFL season.  Not going to be a lot of movement in those standings this week, as we generally picked the same winners almost across the board in Week 5.  Still, some stimulating conversation as we recap the Packers-Saints contest from Sunday, the Bears-Cowboys from Monday, and look ahead to this weekend.

If you’ve got 70 minutes and a burning desire to listen to three grown men yammer on about football, you’ve come to the right place.  Enjoy!
